| Assistant or Associate Professor Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine |
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU is seeking an individual at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank to join our team. Candidates should be eager to join and augment a superior academic pulmonary division that provides clinical coverage within a Pediatric Medical Center that is undergoing significant dynamic growth and has active externally funded bench, translational, clinical, and epidemiological research and Quality Improvement programs. We have an active CF center (part of the TDN and STRC), community asthma program, and participate in multidisciplinary aerodigestive, sleep, muscular dystrophy, and sickle cell programs. Preference will be given to applicants with a well-developed scholarly portfolio to complement and expand existing expertise at Children’s Hospital of Richmond, with evidence of multi-disciplinary applications and potential for external funding. Start-up funding and protected time are available as indicated. Candidates must be Pulmonary board eligible / certified. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU is required.
