The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans, is seeking a full-time academic Pediatric Pulmonologist at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) to join our faculty. Academic rank will be determined by the candidate’s credentials and experience.
The selected candidate will be based at Children’s Hospital, N.O., with a diverse and interesting patient population. The 247 bed tertiary care teaching and clinical care complex is located in the heart of New Orleans. Children’s Hospital is in the beginning stages of a 5 year and $225 million expansion project.
Qualified applicants must be BC/BE in Pediatric Pulmonology and be licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana by start date. Excellent communication skills are required. This is a challenging position involves teaching responsibilities with medical students and residents. Qualifications
