The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking investigators at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level with a focus on comparative effectiveness research, health services research, outcomes research or epidemiology to be part of a departmental research initiative on healthcare delivery investigation. The successful applicants will have a record of peer reviewed papers in top-tier publications and will have K or R-level support from NIH or non-governmental sources. The applicants should have Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine and/or Critical Care Medicine. The successful applicants will also have excellent clinical skills with a specific area of clinical interest, such as asthma, critical care, COPD, or pulmonary hypertension, as well as an outstanding teaching portfolio. Applicants should also have experience mentoring research fellows and will be expected to participate in research development of trainees in the Massachusetts General - Beth Israel Deaconess Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Beth Israel Deaconess is a 590-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital that is a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School.
