Overview

Newton Medical Center is seeking a full time Nocturnist Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team consisting of skilled Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers working together in a focused environment to provide high quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Main role would be house-coverage for patients admitted to the regular medical-surgical floors.
  • Opportunities to collaborate with the Physician Nocturnist for admissions to the Hospitalist Service
  • Respond to acute calls for patients in-house
  • Order and review appropriate testing and treatment for admitted patients
  • Communicate with staff, patients, and families as needed in the care of admitted patients

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 1 year Acute Care/Hospitalist experience is must


Education:

  • PA Certification
  • BSN and Masters Degree
