Dignity Health Medical Group - Northridge is seeking a Residency Program Director for their Family Medicine Residency Program at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Northridge, CA. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the appointment, evaluation and supervision of all Residency Faculty. EXPERIENCE: Must have 5 years full-time professional teaching in Family Medicine. Must have demonstrated ability as a teacher, clinician and administrator, capable of administering the program in an effective manner and be actively involved in the care of patients, devote sufficient time to the residency program to provide continuity of leadership and to fulfill the administrative and teaching responsibilities inherent in achieving the educational goals of the program. Must have a specific commitment to patient care by maintaining the clinical skills and serving as a role model for resident-physicians. They must also hold an appointment in good standing to the medical staff of Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Patients are cared for at Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 424-bed, acute care facility, serving the Northridge community since 1955. This position would be employed through Dignity Health Medical Group-Northridge Family Medicine, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. Our Medical Foundation is aligned with one of the largest health systems in the nation and the largest hospital system in California.
