Description Registered Nurse PRN Job Summary: Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards.
Department/Unit Summary: Corporate Health and Wellness at Vanderbilt currently reports for clinical operations to Internal Medicine and is an integral part of Employer Solutions. The program has been operational for over 15 years and emphasizes evidence- based preventative health evaluations and early detection of disease through point of care testing. This program offers on site employer Health Screenings (basic, comprehensive, and customizable), as well as flu shots. The Wellness team also coordinates educational opportunities and partners with several Nashville based companies in their journey toward achieving a healthier employee. Currently this clinic is located on the 9th floor of the Crystal Terrace building. The leadership team for this clinic is comprised of a Medical Director, Director, Senior Program Manager and Program Manager. Clinical staff members include PRN registered nurses as well as patient care partners.
