PEDIATRIC RESPIROLOGIST (Sleep and Home Ventilation)
Full Time Position Commencing July 1, 2021

The Department of Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)  is seeking a Pediatric Respirologist for a full time position starting July 1, 2021. The successful candidate will join the existing team of 5 full-time Pediatric Respirologists, forming the Division of Respiratory Medicine at CHEO.  In addition to covering general respiratory medicine service, the successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be to provide out-patient services in the Pediatric Sleep (polysomnography interpretation and clinic) and Asthma programs, in addition to supporting the Home Mechanical Ventilation Team.  This will therefore be a primarily clinical role (70% clinical, 30% academic – education and/or research). An academic appointment at the University of Ottawa will be provided, commensurate with qualification.

The applicant must have a fellowship in Pediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent, and have subspecialty training in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine.  In addition, the applicant should have additional training and expertise in Pediatric Sleep Medicine, including polysomnography interpretation.
