We are seeking a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) to join our team of dedicated neonatologists, NNP's/PA's to provide care to patients in suburban and in-town Atlanta. Piedmont hospitals have received A grades from the nonprofit Leapfrog Group than any other system in the state.

  • Our practice is a Level III NICU with 24 beds
  • This rapidly growing facility currently has an average daily census of 10-16 with approximately 1800 deliveries per year
  • NNP's attend high-risk deliveries, assessing and rounding on newborns in the NICU
  • Coverage is predominately at Piedmont Henry Hospital; however, our practice also covers at two other Level-III nurseries in the Atlanta area, providing opportunities to practice at more than one facility
  • Though there will be some flexibility in scheduling, we anticipate the nurse practitioner will provide coverage during the day with 14-15 twelve hour shifts per month
  • Our NICU'S have the capability to provide comprehensive care for infants ranging from extremely low birth weight to full-term requiring specialized interventions.
