Overview

This position is M Health University of Minnesota Medical Center (East Bank) and will be working with adult patients in the Interventional Radiology environment. This position is 56 hours per 2 weeks, day rotation, 8 hour shifts (7:30am 4pm or 9:30am 6pm). Call requirements 6pm 7am on weekdays; Weekend call is Friday 6pm-7am and 24hr Saturday/Sunday every 6th weekend; and a rotating on call schedule of one holiday per calendar year. This position is benefit eligible.

Responsibilities/Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current MN RN License
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • BSN/BAN
  • Minimum of two years of critical care: ED, ICU or PACU
  • Able to train to competency in procedural sedation.
  • Able to wear lead attire during radiologic procedures
