The staff Registered Respiratory Therapist in the Inpatient Nights Respiratory section of Medicine Service is responsible for providing basic and advance respiratory care services to adult and geriatric patients at the Richard L. Roudebush VAMC . It is necessary for the therapist to be knowledgeable regarding the basic treatment of all age groups of patients. The therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of respiratory care and must be able to operate a variety of equipment
