RN - Critical Care Educator
DescriptionSummary:The Critical Care Educator functions in the role of expert clinician, educator, consultant, case manager, and researcher in Adult Critical Care areas: ICU. In collaboration with the medical staff and nursing staff, monitors the clinical care of patients and provides clinical support to improve patient care and patient outcomes. Incorporated within each of these role functions, the critical care educator is a role model, patient advocate, change agent, leader, and cost-effective practitioner. The role of the critical care educator is based on autonomy of practice, in-depth theoretical nursing knowledge, clinical expertise, and research application. The primary focus of this position is the advancement of expert nursing practice
