JOB SUMMARYThe Orthopaedic Joint Commission Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) works closely with physicians and other clinicians with the care of ortho patients. Responsible for preparing for, acquiring, and maintaining Joint Commission accreditation as a Total Range Center.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEEnsures compliance with the Joint Commission and state regulations.Coordinates total range program and team.Develops policies and protocols to meet evidence-based ortho guidelines.Monitors the team from admission to discharge to ensure quality patient care.Collaborates with ortho, anesthesia and hospitalist service.Leads quality improvement initiatives
