Job SummaryStabilizes the neonate prior to and during air and ground transports as a recognized job priority, as well as stabilize newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and in the delivery room utilizing protocols and guidelines as outlined in the Neonatal Stabilization Educational Program under the supervision of the attending neonatologist. Meets qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned nursing unit.
