Health Technician (Radiology)
The Health Technician (Radiology) position primary duty is to provide technical assistance in the Imaging Department for inpatients and outpatients. This position is located at the Audie L. Murphy VAMC in San Antonio, Texas within Imaging Service. Duties may include but are not limited to: 1) Obtaining patient histories 2) Conducting specific observations and examination procedures 3) Preforming diagnostic and therapeutic tasks 4) Assisting Imaging Supervisors with tasks that are in the scope of the health technician 5) Assisting Veteran with screening forms. 6) Venipuncture and lab specimen drawing using established phlebotomy practices 7) Choosing clothing and assisting or supporting changing process. 8) Assist with physical movement, such as walking or repositioning. 9) Perform tempera
