SCOPE OF PRACTICE The Scope of Practice of all registered nurses is defined in the four (4) dimensions of the Clinical Nurse Path Qualification Standards in Handbook 5005 that was revised March 17, 2009. Specific practice settings include Primary Care, Geriatrics & Extended Care, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Service (Spinal Cord Injury), Compensation & Pension, Surgical Services, and Medicine Service. Start Date: Must be able to start position by 3/27/2022 Basic Required Qualifications (Per Handbook 5005) Nurse Practitioner U.S. Citizenship, Birth or Naturalized (appropriate documentation required) Master's degree from an NLN or CCNE accredited Nurse Practitioner program National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner Current, full, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse State app
