Description Job Summary: An immediate opening is available for a Research Assistant 1 in a lab in the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The focus of the lab is studying extracellular vesicles and extracellular RNA in the regulation of inflammation and cancer. The ideal candidate will have experience with molecular and/or cellular biology. A willingness to work with mice is required. All candidates must be quick learners, self-motivated, organized, reliable and good communicators. Prior experience with immunology, extracellular vesicles, RNA biology and/or cancer biology will be useful, but is not required.
