Atlantic Health System is seeking multiple full-time Medical Assistant for Pulmonary & Allergy Associates, part of Atlantic Medical Group in Multiple locations ranging from Cedar Knolls and Summit.

No Weekend commitment, Monday through Friday

Essential Functions:

• The Certified Medical Assistant I (CMA) will perform clinical as well as administrative tasks including managing phones
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)will be registering patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, rooming patients
• Also, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, maintaining/prepping exam rooms, and other duties typical of a CMA in a physician practice.
  
  

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, NHA required
• Post externship physician practice experience preferred
• Prior EMR physician practice experience a plus
• Experience with EPIC desired
