DescriptionSummary:Provides primary care to a designated group of patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse.Assists in the collection of patient data used to determine nursing needs of the patient.Works with other disciplines to ensure a collaborative approach to the care of the patient. The Medical Surgical Telemetry Pediatrics department at Christus Spohn Alice has a daily average census of approximately 25 patients.We often see patients with CHF, Pneumonia, Skin Abscess, Chest Pain, COPD, Diabetes, Appendicitis, Cholecystectomy, EGD's, Colonoscopy, Pediatrics with Asthma, Bronchitis, Viral Syndrome, and Pneumonia.Our associates feel very proud to work in this department.
