Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our experienced and energetic team of regional providers as an inpatient pediatric specialist at Adena Health System in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Pediatric Hospitalists working at Adena are employees of Nationwide Children’s Hospital. With a staff of nearly 3400 employees and caregivers, Adena has been named as one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals for 2020 for the second year by Healthgrades.

Adena is also one of four Ohio hospitals recognized as a Center of Excellence by The Joint Commission in the area of Advanced Perinatal Care. The pediatric unit includes a 6-bed inpatient and observation pediatric unit, 8-bed Special Care Nursery and a 20-bed Mother-Infant Unit. Responsibilities of the Pediatric Hospitalist include providing general pediatric consultations as well as inpatient pediatric/well baby care, circumcisions, Emergency Department consultations for admission or transfer and attending high-risk deliveries and c-sections. Shifts are 24 hours in-house.

Qualified candidates must be board certified/ board eligible in Pediatrics, patient-centered and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in pediatric care. Must have: PALS & NRP.
