Memorial Healthcare System is expanding its urgent care centers in Broward and northern Miami-Dade counties and seeking an experienced candidate for a staff relief position. Applicants should be BE/BC in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine/ER, or internal medicine/pediatrics with a minimum 2 years’ experience in an urgent care setting. Family medicine experience preferred. Candidates should be certified or agree to become certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Ideal candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated through patient management plans, patient follow-up and mid-level practitioner supervision. A thorough knowledge and application of appropriate diagnostic testing and interpretation as well as responsible prescription management are also required. Proficiency with suturing and minor surgical procedures required.

This is a staff relief employed position with the Memorial Physician Group. The position offers a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
