Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant, part of AMG Rheumatology at Morristown, Atlantic Medical Group has a challenging opportunity for in Morristown and Cedar Knolls.
At this group, our Rheumatologists combine physical examinations, medical history and sophisticated immunologic and imaging tests to achieve a quick and accurate diagnosis.
No weekend commitment
Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
Essential Functions of Certified Medical Assistant:
The Certified Medical Assistant will perform clinical functions such as managing patient flow, rooming patients, taking vital signs, patient intake, assisting with office procedures for Rheumatic Diseases
Documenting in EMR, re-stocking and cleaning of exam rooms, ordering supplies, triaging patient phone calls, and other duties typical of a physician practice.
- Our rheumatologists combine physical examinations, medical history and sophisticated immunologic and imaging tests to achieve a quick and accurate diagnosis.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma required
Qualifications/Requirements of Certified Medical Assistant:
- MA certification through AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NCCT, or NHA required
- Post externship MA experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule a must
- Willingness to rotate to other physician practices as needed
- EMR experience desired
- Experience with Rheumatology or relatable
