Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant, part of AMG Rheumatology at Morristown, Atlantic Medical Group has a challenging opportunity for in Morristown and Cedar Knolls.

At this group, our Rheumatologists combine physical examinations, medical history and sophisticated immunologic and imaging tests to achieve a quick and accurate diagnosis.

No weekend commitment

Monday through Friday

Essential Functions of Certified Medical Assistant:

• The Certified Medical Assistant will perform clinical functions such as managing patient flow, rooming patients, taking vital signs, patient intake, assisting with office procedures for Rheumatic Diseases

• Documenting in EMR, re-stocking and cleaning of exam rooms, ordering supplies, triaging patient phone calls, and other duties typical of a physician practice.

• Our rheumatologists combine physical examinations, medical history and sophisticated immunologic and imaging tests to achieve a quick and accurate diagnosis.

Education:

• High School Diploma required

Qualifications/Requirements of Certified Medical Assistant:

• MA certification through AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NCCT, or NHA required
• Post externship MA experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule a must
• Willingness to rotate to other physician practices as needed
• EMR experience desired
• Experience with Rheumatology or relatable
