Practice Description
The Hospitalist team at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is passionate about inpatient medicine and excited about clinical quality. This role will function as a critical member of the health care team working collaboratively with a group of Hospitalists (both physicians and advanced practice providers). The care team delivers care to inpatients at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center.
Practice Details:
- This position meets our patient needs through working block schedule of 7 on 7 off.
- Minimum of 15-25% evening hours of 3p-12p, no nights!
- FTE is felxible 0.6-1.0
- We are seeking Advanced Practice Providers to work on various services.
- Cross cover
- Admissions, rounding, discharges
- Psych medical consults
- Rapid response and code sepsis
- We are seeking Advanced Practice Providers to work on various services.
- Must be interested in working in a large academic environment with high acuity and complex patients.
- We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- BC/BE through NCCPA
- Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
- Inpatient experience required
