Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full time Respiratory Therapists for the At Home Medical Unit in Morris Plains, NJ. The position will be working 8:30 - 5pm Monday - Friday. There is on call with this position as well as every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- To provide respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician, according to established standards and practices
- Assess patient health problems and needs
- Develop and implement care plans
- Maintain medical records
- Administer care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
- May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Knowledge regarding homecare services and third party reimbursement
- Excellent communication, documentation, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills
- Clean Driving Record
Minimum Education:
- Associate Degree required
Education:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
License/Certification:
- RRT preferred
- State professional license to provide respiratory care/services to patients in New Jersey
- NY and PA licenses preferred
Relevant Experience:
- 1+ year of acute experience preferred
