Description Respiratory Care Professionals are viewed as integral members of the health care team. You will set up and operate respiratory care equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. Possess knowledge of respiratory pharmacology to administer prescribed medications. You must have knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.
