Polysomnography is a comprehensive overnight procedure done for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment of patients who have deficiencies and abnormalities in sleep related conditions. Medical Instrument Technicians (MIT's) perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the sleep lab under the direction of the Pulmonologist or other licensed independent practitioners. The MIT is aware of the strategic plan of the organization and functions as an integral part of the organization.
