DescriptionLogan Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist Extern to assist Respiratory Therapists with preparing for and providing patient care. The Respiratory Therapist Extern will be performing the following duties: Delivers routine therapy as delegated by a therapist. Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance. Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition. Educates the patient and family about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources. Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinde
