SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for providing respiratory care procedures to critically ill patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Associates Degree from a CoARC approved program in Respiratory Therapy required.
Licensed as Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
RRT credential awarded by the NBRC or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with at least 20-years of total experience and 15-years of acute and critical care experience at PSHMC required.
ACLS or PALS/NRP certification required.
BLS/RQI certification required.
Critical thinking and multitasking skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Excellent communication skills preferred.
