Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant for the Gagnon 3 Pulmonary Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
Assisting patients with daily activities
Measuring and recording vital signs
Administering basic treatments
Helping to ensure a safe care environment
Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
Good communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience:
1-2 years of acute care experience
Licenses/Certifications:
BLS preferred.
CNA preferred.
