We are looking for an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) to work 40 hours per week in the Electrophysiology Lab. The RN will provide Procedural

assistance and educate patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Circulator - pre and post procedures perform RN to RN handoffs - The circulating nurse meets all patients and reviews their history, identifies allergies, checks medications needed for each case, answers questions the patient and family may have, and transports the patient to the EP Lab.
• Scrub in with provider for all electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker insertion, internal cardioverter defibrillator insertion, Bi-Ventricular devices, studies, and ablations.
• Recorder - set up, connect, and troubleshoot equipment. Monitor and perform measurements on intracardiac recording system, operate stimulator and ablation generators

Education and Minimum Requirement:

• Current RN license. (Maryland RN license or license from a compact state.)
• Associates Nursing Degree, BSN preferred.
• Must have at least two years RN experience. Experience in Electrophysiology or other procedural area preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred. Must get within 1 year of start date.

The successful candidate may be eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus to be paid over a period of 12 months.
