The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) utilizes technical and manual skills under the direction of the Registered Nurse or a licensed physician in the assigned area. Incumbent performs a wide range of patient care duties. Incumbent performs a wide range of patient care and duties throughout NCHCS. The incumbent has the knowledge and skills to carry out nursing assignments for ambulatory care nursing. Competency will be validated during the orientation period, and annually thereafter.
