As the Supervisory Medical Technologist for the Microbiology Section, the incumbent has responsibility for a staff of non-supervisory personnel, including GS-9, GS-10 and GS-11 Medical Technologists. He/ She works independently providing operational and technical oversight for the section and is directly accountable to the Laboratory Manager. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
