Overview
St. Luke's Health System is seeking a BC/BE family medicine physician to join our new and collegial, multi-disciplinary team in Nampa, ID. The S. Nampa Clinic will use consumer insights to shape the care environment; therefore, a flexible mindset to adapt to consumer needs and preferences is desired.
This full time (1.0 FTE) position is responsible for the family medicine services and clinical operations of the same-day access services under the supervision of the Principal Physician, Consumer Access & Experience. Responsibilities include full time clinical practice within urgent care, oversight of APPs, and additional billable administrative hours (on average 5-8 per month).
Patient scope includes a variety of adult and pediatric illnesses and injuries, including but not limited to, management of acute health issues such as bladder or respiratory infections, abdominal or back pain, cuts, and sprains; chronic health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, depression, and high cholesterol; and preventive care including birth control, pap smears, immunizations, diabetes education, and coordination of appropriate screening tests.
The clinic is open 7 days a week (M-F 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.; Sa-Su 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.).
The S. Nampa Clinic has a full complement of ancillary services including eConsults, pharmacy, laboratory, and imaging, and is supported by RNs, CMAs, and LPNs.
