Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) - a physician-led and accountable 500+ provider multispecialty group practice - is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine physician to join the 12th Avenue team, a robust clinic-based practice, located in Nampa, Idaho, just 25 minutes from Boise.
Join a team dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of patients to include birth to end of life. The Internal Medicine physician will care for a high-acuity, adult patient population.
The 12th Avenue Clinic offers onsite lab, imaging, and diabatic care clinic as well as an embedded Pharmacist, population health nurse support, team nurse support, and an adjacent 24/7 Emergency Department. Well-qualified candidates should be passionate and knowledgeable about older adults' health issues and should have a desire to provide outpatient IM primary care in support of our growing multi-specialty medical group within a regionally integrated healthcare system.
The schedule for this opportunity is a traditional clinic work week, Monday through Friday, with no less than 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time. Practice call is phone only, one week at a time every two months.
Requirements for this opportunity include:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program
Board certified, or obtain board-certification within 3 years of employment
Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases
Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA
