Optum is looking for a Hospitalist  to join our team. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume.  We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

  Position Details:

• Position will be based at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and Fountain Valley Regional Hospital
• Block Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off; seven day shifts (7 AM- 7 PM) and seven night shifts every twenty eight days
• Majority of night shifts will be 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Admissions and rounding on assigned patients

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted California State Medical License
• Current California DEA certificate
• BC in Internal Medicine
• EMR proficient
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience
• Excellent communication skills
