Overview
Bridgewater Orthopedic Associates, part of Atlantic Medical Group, has a challenging/rewarding opportunity for an experienced CMA.
Our entry level offers start at $20.69 / hour and increase based upon experience.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Ensure all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patients' medical records
Prepare patients for examination, acquire vitals and accurately document in EMR
Interview patient for allergies, medications, and history
Assist the physician in the exam room, apply Durable Medical Equipment (DME), wound care, draw up injections, etc.
Order diagnostic tests, complete referrals, and procedures as indicated for maintaining clinic flow
Maintain supply inventory and stock exam rooms
Cover for front end staff managing, phones, greeting patients, registering and scheduling patients in the practice management system
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma required- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Qualifications/Requirements:
Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT or NHA required
Prior CMA experience (preferably Orthopedics) desired
EPIC experience a plus
Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule
