Job Description

ADVANCED PRACTICE NURSE

Hospitalist * Summit, NJ

If you are looking for a collaborative, dynamic, physician-led practice environment where you can learn, grow, and excel in providing integrated, multidisciplinary, patient centered care, then Summit Health is the place to be! We are seeking a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse in Internal or Family Medicine and 1 year of Hospital Medicine experience to work collaboratively with our Hospitalist Team.

Requirements include:

• 1-year experience required; 2-4 years preferred
• Advanced Practice Nurse License
• BLS Certification

Responsibilities include:

• Examining patients admitted to the ED
• Coordinating all tests, examinations and treatments
• Interacting with primary care physician to develop treatment plans
• Maintaining hospital records and medications
• Arranging follow up care for patients once they leave the hospital
• Prescribing medications
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients and family members.
