The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Oishei Children’s Hospital, Division of General Pediatrics is actively recruiting for a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist. This candidate will provide inpatient care for pediatric patients at Oishei Children’s Hospital. They will also share in coverage of the affiliated Pediatric Long Term Care facility at HighPointe on Michigan. After-hours call is shared with other faculty members, and taken from home with on-site PICU backup. Faculty duties include education, oversight and instruction of pediatric residents and medical students from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Ideal candidates will have excellent clinical and teaching skills, as well as interest in research and quality improvement. The successful candidate will have a University appointment at the level of Assistant Professor. The position offers excellent benefits.
