Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem CT Scan Technologist at Hackettstown Medical Center. The shift for this position will vary.
Responsibilities
Assists in performing routine procedures
Assesses patient ability to tolerate contrast
Screens for allergies/medication incompatibilities
Cleans CT Unit and room after each use
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of working area
Notifies Coordinator or Lead of equipment malfunctions
Maintains QA/QC requirements for daily, monthly ACR specifications
Adheres to venipucture and power injector protocols
Maintains composure and is able to reach logical conclusions in emergent situations. (such as stroke and trauma patients)
Uses good judgment and is able to supports others in tense situations
Respond appropriately during emergency situations
Assists staff as necessary during critical situations and works as part of one unified team
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work independently
Must work well within a team and have the ability to assess and prioritize workflow
Minimum Education:
Graduate of AMA certified radiography program
License/Certifications:
Advanced certification in CT required
Must be state licensed ARRT (R) (CT)
Must be CPR certified
Relevant Experience:
1+ year of CT experience preferred
