Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem CT Scan Technologist at Hackettstown Medical Center. The shift for this position will vary.

• Assists in performing routine procedures
• Assesses patient ability to tolerate contrast
• Screens for allergies/medication incompatibilities
• Cleans CT Unit and room after each use
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of working area
• Notifies Coordinator or Lead of equipment malfunctions
• Maintains QA/QC requirements for daily, monthly ACR specifications
• Adheres to venipucture and power injector protocols
• Maintains composure and is able to reach logical conclusions in emergent situations. (such as stroke and trauma patients)
• Uses good judgment and is able to supports others in tense situations
• Respond appropriately during emergency situations
• Assists staff as necessary during critical situations and works as part of one unified team

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work independently
• Must work well within a team and have the ability to assess and prioritize workflow

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of AMA certified radiography program

License/Certifications:

• Advanced certification in CT required
• Must be state licensed ARRT (R) (CT)
• Must be CPR certified

Relevant Experience:

• 1+ year of CT experience preferred
