Nationwide Medical Technologist Positions w/ the Department of Veterans Affairs!
The Department of Veterans Affairs is recruiting Nationwide for MEDICAL TECHNOLOGISTS to care for our Veteran Heroes!
You will develop, perform, evaluate, interpret, correlate, and validate the accuracy of laboratory procedures and results. Testing is performed on a variety of biological specimens using manual or automated techniques and require a broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. Work is performed in a variety of laboratory disciplines, such as bacteriology, chemistry (including immunoassay and toxicology), coagulation, hematology, immunology, immunohematology (blood banking), and urinalysis.
We have general, specialized areas and leadership positions available!
All shifts available (days, eves and nights), with possible rotating weekends & holidays. Shift differential for off tours, holiday pay and Saturday & Sunday pay premium pay.
Minimum of one year of core lab experience is required. Requires bachelor’s degree and national certification MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or MT(AMT). U.S. citizenship required.
