Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an experienced mid-career, full-time BC Cardiac Surgeon to join our organization.
Position Highlights –
- Well established program covering entire western Massachusetts A practice group of 5 surgeons providing all aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery services.
- Newly constructed state of the art Heart and vascular center. The cardiovascular service line is fully supported by organizational leadership with a newly built innovative inpatient Heart and Vascular Center, 6 dedicated cardiac and vascular operating rooms, a CVICU and step-down units, both supported by a full-time advanced practice provider service.
- Work collaboratively with a large team of cardiovascular specialists (cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, and intensivists) with the goal of providing outstanding CV care.
- Scholarly opportunities available and supported by robust research infrastructure. An academic appointment at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School commensurate with experience.

Qualifications: ABTS BC Cardiac Surgeon. At least 5 years of cardiac surgery experience -OR- equivalent case volume. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality, and lifelong learning is essential.
