Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an experienced mid-career, full-time BC Cardiac Surgeon to join our organization.
Position Highlights –
Well established program covering entire western Massachusetts A practice group of 5 surgeons providing all aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery services.
Newly constructed state of the art Heart and vascular center. The cardiovascular service line is fully supported by organizational leadership with a newly built innovative inpatient Heart and Vascular Center, 6 dedicated cardiac and vascular operating rooms, a CVICU and step-down units, both supported by a full-time advanced practice provider service.
Work collaboratively with a large team of cardiovascular specialists (cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, and intensivists) with the goal of providing outstanding CV care.
Scholarly opportunities available and supported by robust research infrastructure. An academic appointment at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School commensurate with experience.

Qualifications: ABTS BC Cardiac Surgeon. At least 5 years of cardiac surgery experience -OR- equivalent case volume. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality, and lifelong learning is essential.
