SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department director and guidance of the supervisor, administers all Respiratory Care modalities as ordered by physicians. Primary areas consist of critical care areas, NICU, emergency department and general floor units. Other functions may include pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopies. Acts as charge therapist when needed. Able to deliver all respiratory modalities offered by the respiratory department. Able to become a preceptor for students and new respiratory staff. EXPERIENCE: One year preferred SPECIAL SKILLS: NRP, ACCS, ACLS, CPFT preferred OTHER: Current RRT by the NBRC LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), RT (Respiratory Therapist) EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Respiratory Therapy
