The School seeks candidates who will build competitive research programs that complement our strengths in the areas of Biomedical Engineering. This search is open to all research areas in biomedical engineering. Ideal candidates will have an international reputation in the field, and the ability to obtain external funding.] We are particularly interested in candidates working in the area of biomedical data science and machine learning, where computational and/or experimental innovations can lead to new discoveries and advances in biosciences, engineering and healthcare. Areas of investigation could include, but not limited to genomics, imaging, multi-modal integration, and mechanistic inference. Similarly, application areas could include, but not limited to immunology, cancer, cardiovascular, diabetes, brain health, and cell manufacturing. Successful candidates will demonstrate an understanding of the barriers preventing full participation of members from historically underrepresented and marginalized student communities in higher education. In addition, successful candidates will be expected to develop a vibrant externally-funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate level courses, and should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship.

Qualifications: Candidates must hold a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in engineering, medicine, applied mathematics, computer science or the natural sciences - required by the start of the appointment.
