• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current MN RN license. BSN required. CCRN, Preferred.
• Current BLS and PALS certification required.
• 5 years current PICU experience.
• Pediatric Nursing Certification or CCRN, or ability to obatin in one year
• Current preceptor experience required.
• Flexible to adjust work schedule to accommodate education sessions for all shifts as well as required Clinical Educator meetings.
• Demonstrates professional behavior including consistently modeling Children's Values.
• Possess strong organization, communication, group interaction, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrates experience in developing, teaching, and coordinating educational programs.
• Understands competency based education, including the ability to give constructive and effective performance feedback

***Staff and manager interviews will be utilized along with a 10 minute teaching demonstration on a topic related to the PICU population.***
