The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital and Clinics located in Tampa, Florida is recruiting for board eligible/board certified Internal Medicine/Family Practice Physicians to join their dynamic healthcare team.

Duties include but not limited to the following:
The ideal candidate has strong leadership and managerial experience and skills, program development and implementation, system redesign and experience with performance measures and cultural transformation leading patient centered care.
Interprets the needs of the Network and institution, develops participation in problem solving, obtains buy-in, and optimizes the practice of care.
Serves as the contact for affiliates and maintains responsibilities for developing and maintaining partnership in education and research.
Takes an active role as a member of the Local Leadership Council includes counsel of chiefs, Clinical Executive Board, and Quality Safety Value, serving as a voting member and/or subject matter expert.
Serves as a Veteran advocate for quality of medical care, patient rights, and confidentiality. When necessary, recommends appropriate programmatic changes and responses to issues of patient complaints.
Ensure the Medical Staff maintains the appropriate competency levels by promoting educational programs.
Responsible for medical staff in the following levels of care:
PACT/Primary Care
Specialty services to include: Pain, MSK, Women's Health and Battlefield Acupuncture
Key leader in the design, development, implementation and review of clinical care within the medical center CBOCs/OPC.
Provide direct patient care as needed in outpatient, and urgent care settings as needed, utilizing face to face visits and telemedicine.
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday
Salary Range: $180,000.00 – $220,000.00 per year
