BJC Medical Group Neurology Associates is known for excellent patient care and superior diagnosis and treatment of general neurological conditions.
Practice Highlights
Joining an established group of 5 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners
Mentorship available to new providers
High wRVU output
Clinic hours: 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Providers typically see 15 - 17 patients per day
Patients are typically ages 18 years and older
1.0 FTE is considered 36 patient hours with 4 administrative hours per week
Providers will have a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Providers care for patients with a variety of conditions, including: headaches, movement disorder, neuromuscular disease, chronic migraines, epilepsy, memory disorders, multiple sclerosis, dementia, and peripheral nerve disorders
Shared practice call of 1:6 with NO stroke call
Dedicated Neuro hospital floor on campus
Option to practice out of satellite clinics or participate in telehealth, if desired
Candidates who can read EMG or EEG would be a plus
Special areas of interest can be accommodated
EPIC EMR
Both practicing physicians and new graduates encouraged to apply

Competitive salary (2 year guarantee) followed by a wRVU based model

Role Purpose
Ensures optimal care and promotes safety of patients admitted to assigned service in cooperation with the private attending staff and nursing staff. Communicates with staff, patients, and families.
Responsibilities
Manages the medical care of assigned patients.
Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws.
Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service. Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
