Memorial Healthcare System is expanding its urgent care centers in Broward and northern Miami-Dade counties and seeking an experienced candidate. Applicants should be BE/BC in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine/ER, or internal medicine/pediatrics with a minimum 2 years’ experience in an urgent care setting. Family medicine experience preferred. Candidates should be certified or agree to become certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Bilingual candidates preferred (English/Spanish).
Ideal candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated through patient management plans, patient follow-up and mid-level practitioner supervision. A thorough knowledge and application of appropriate diagnostic testing and interpretation as well as responsible prescription management are also required. Proficiency with suturing and minor surgical procedures required.
This is a full-time employed position with the multi-specialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
