Title: Faculty Surgeon- Trauma & Acute Care Surgery

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is seeking a faculty surgeon within the Division of Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical Specialties. The ideal candidate will be board eligible/certified in general surgery with added qualification in surgical critical care and will join 6 other fellowship-trained surgeons in the rapid growth of the program. Candidates should have a track record of academic/scholarly/research accomplishments, have interest in education/teaching of medical students and surgical residents, and have a passion for high quality and clinical care. Excellent communication skill is a must and willing to work in a high volume matrix environment.
Dignity Health Medical Group works in partnership with Chandler Regional Medical Center (CRMC), an ACS-verified Level I trauma center in suburban Phoenix. Our teams focus is driven around collaboration, treating the whole patient, providing support for the hospital. CRMC evaluates over 80,000 patients in the emergency department and almost 4000 trauma patients.

REQUIREMENTS:
- MD or DO Degree
- ABS Board Certification/Eligibility
- Must have or be eligible for medical licensure in Arizona.
- ATLS certification
- Completed ACGME Residency training program
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
