SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Leads and participates in the day-to-day activities of the Respiratory Services Department and monitors the general activities of its satellites. Monitors, evaluates, and coaches Registered Respiratory Therapists daily performance and productivity. Adjusts staffing levels according to the Respiratory Clinical Information System (RCIS) crewing guide.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Associates Degree required
Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist by the state of employment required
Current BLS certification
Current certification in ACLS
Two (2) years of experience as a respiratory therapist
One Active Specialty Credential (NPS, ACCS, C-NPT, AE-C, C-PFT, RPFT, PALS, or NRP)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
ACLS and PALS certification
