Maine Medical Partners Pediatric Specialty Care is seeking a FT BE/BC Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a division of 3 pediatric pulmonologists and a nurse practitioner who cover the State of Maine and portions of New Hampshire.
In addition to outpatient services, the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology provides care for Children at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, a 96-bed hospital that includes a 50-bed neonatal ICU and 8 bed PICU within Maine Medical Center. We have an active bronchoscopy service, participate in an aerodigestive clinic, a muscular dystrophy clinic, and care for children on home ventilation. We currently have 2 outreach clinics in Maine with the potential to expand our outreach services. Finally, we are associated with an American Academy of Sleep Medicine accredited Sleep Medicine Center.
Maine Medical Center has 700 licensed beds, and is the state’s leading tertiary care hospital and Level One Trauma Center, with a full complement of residencies and fellowships and is an integral part of Tufts University Medical School. The candidate hired would have an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine and the position can involve teaching and mentoring residents and medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Program.
