Stanford's ILD program, a part of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Clinical Care Network, offers a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary clinical program alongside active and well-funded clinical, translational, and basic research initiatives.
The selected candidate's clinical responsibilities will primarily involve outpatient ILD clinics at the Stanford Palo Alto Campus and ICU responsibilities at the Stanford Tri-valley campus in Pleasanton, CA. In addition, engagement in clinical research and teaching will be expected and encouraged.
The position is set to begin in July 2023, although the start date is negotiable. The position will remain open until filled. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.
The anticipated base pay for an assistant professor ranges from $215,000 to $247,000, and for an associate professor, it ranges from $253,000 to $295,000. This range reflects base pay based on faculty rank and years in rank, but may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs. For more information regarding compensation and a comprehensive range of benefits, including housing assistance, please contact the hiring department. Stanford University has provided this pay range as a good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The final pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the candidate's experience, qualifications, equivalent years in rank, training, field or discipline, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable positions.
